We just wanted to send you a brief update as our first year of working with The Franchising Centre comes to a close, to let you know how things have been going and provide you with some feedback.
Firstly, both myself and my partner Laura would like to commend you on the level of service which The Franchising Centre provide. When we had our initial meeting with Steve Felmingham, it was clear that your services were - or at least appeared to be - significantly more expensive than your competitors. We called in three other consulting firms and all of them were less than half the cost of your services, which nearly stopped us going ahead with yourselves. However, Steve explained the way in which he would "drive" the whole project, and we never realised what a significant benefit this would bring. Your competitors just seem to provide the documents and then leave clients to "go it alone" which is a totally different service to that which you provide.
From the outset Steve has managed the project and become an integral part of our team. His original Development Plan gave us a blueprint to follow, but he ensured that at every stage we "stuck to the plan". It was this all-inclusive approach, from the (very detailed!) financial modeling to the marketing strategy and recruitment process, which has led us to where we are now.
We launched the franchise in October and have already signed two franchisees with a further three looking very likely to proceed before the end of the year. This puts us very well ahead of our targets, and more importantly has made the whole process with The Franchising Centre extremely cost-effective. We are confident that without Steve's involvement we would never have been able to achieve this, and it is now clear why there is such a marked difference in the cost of your services - which if we measure this on the results achieved and the benefits to our business actually makes you significantly cheaper than your competitors (although the is not an excuse for you to put your prices up!).
So, in summary, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you, Steve and everyone at The Franchising Centre for making such a success of this venture for us. We have ambitious plans for next year, and a very strong team going forward and we have no hesitation in retaining The Franchising Centre as an essential part of that team.
