Never quite got around to updating your manual? We understand how it is; the manual was enough to get you up and running a while back, and you’d always intended to update it when you got a free couple of weeks. Time just seems to disappear however and now the manual only really skims over the surface of what franchisees should be doing. If franchisees sense that a manual is old and out-of-date, they are unlikely to pay it much attention either. Your franchise agreement will almost certainly make reference to the manual, and yet do you know if the two documents are consistent? What about things that have been learned over the years; are the franchisees able to benefit from these, or have you not managed to communicate these ideas to them? A full review and update of your manual is probably long overdue, and it can be a useful opportunity to review all of your systems and processes whilst we do so.
Audit
A review of the entire manual in conjunction with the operational processes of the business is carried out, including:
Final Delivery
Where there are additional sections required which we are unable to write ourselves (for example, detailed descriptions of specific trade processes etc) we will guide you as to the content and extent of these headings. We will edit these for style and consistency of message and then incorporate them into the finished manual, together with our own sections relating to franchising best-practice and compliance.
The final output will then be a professionally presented fully updated manual, complete with all of our recommended improvements and amendments. This will be supplied in fully indexed hard-copy for your review, together with an electronic copy for future production of further copies as required.
